Had a heavy smoker in a 1 bedroom unit in a multi-unit building and the odor spread throughout the building. Need an estimate to remove the smoke odor and clean the furniture in the unit as soon as possible. Thanks.

I would like to schedule an assessment and cleaning estimate for a unit in a fourplex that I own. The tenants that vacated the unit were heavy smokers. The property manager had the unit professionally cleaned, new carpet installed, and new paint on the walls, ceilings, and trim. However, the cigarette smell is still noticeable. The painter did not wash the walls or ceilings before painting and did not apply any primer. We used a chlorine dioxide fogger which reduced the smell. Thanks.

It's natural in the aftermath of a fire in your home to feel dazed and confused about your next course of action. It helps you to understand however, that there are super specialized professionals who are thoroughly qualified to get all the seemingly irreparable damage in your property straightened out. Never hire a general contractor to handle your fire damage restoration processes. A general contractor is just not equipped to handle stain removal, mold removal, sanitization, and indoor air quality monitoring the way a fire damage company can.
Thankfully, there are a number of fire damage restoration companies in Las Vegas who are equipped to handle major and moderate level fire damage restoration services. Take the time to interview prospective contractors, so you get a feel for the kind of work they do. Make sure your contract has the necessary licensing requirements for your state. He should be licensed to practice in your state and he should also have credentials from prominent bodies in his field, like the National Air Filtration Association, Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification. Make sure you visit the websites of the organizations and confirm his membership of these bodies.
Make sure that your fire repair company comes with enough liability coverage and worker's compensation coverage. If there are sub contractors involved, they will need to have sufficient coverage too. Your fire damage restoration specialist should be able to give you an estimated time frame for the completion of the project. He should be able to give you a detailed estimate of the cost of the project in writing, and should be able to offer a warranty of his work. Make sure that you have a list of references so you can check the veracity of his credentials. Call these references and ask them about the contractor -- did he complete the restoration on schedule? Was the work thorough and professional? Would they recommend the services of the fire damage contractor? We make finding professional reputed fire damage restoration specialists like this in Las Vegas, easy and hassle free. Simply fill out your details in the form, and we'll put you in touch with professional and experienced fir repair companies in Las Vegas.
